Q. What is the primary business of FPI?

A. Manufacture of Automotive Engine Parts.


Q. Can we use our own quote forms?


A. All quotations must be submitted on F.P.I. RFQ forms provided complete with all data requested. Failure to return this form completed will jeopardize our consideration of your submission.


Q. Is it required to schedule a visit in advance?


A. Most all visits would require scheduling. We want the meetings to be beneficial. In order to accomplish this we need time to prepare for the visit and insure that appropriate personnel are available that can contribute to the meetings agenda.


Q. What type of material, if any, does F.P.I. purchase?


A. F.P.I. does Injecting Molding of resin products and Die Casting with Aluminum ingot.


Q. Does F.P.I. have an Environmental Policy?


A. Yes. FPI is ISO 14001 certified.


Q. How does a vendor become a supplier for Franklin Precision Industry?


A. To become a supplier to FPI we must request a quote from you. After receiving this quotation it will be evaluated against other quotations. If your company is selected based on pricing, we will conduct an on-site audit. After the audit FPI will meet to determine if we should proceed with the relationship.


Q. Is TS 16949 required to become a supplier to Franklin Precision Industry?


A. Yes.

A. Yes, it is very important to get every field complete, it is used to head off any problems in the future.
