Tracy was nominated by her supervisor. Tracy, an Injection Molding Technician, at the time went beyond her normal job duties by paying attention to help avoid a serious accident. While working on a vertical injection molding machine, a technician was dragging a air hose to blow out the machine and accidentally pressed a switch with the air hose causing the turntable to start. Tracy took quick action and pressed the e-stop button.
On another occasion this month, Tracy noticed a hose loose on one of the injection molding machines when arriving on first shift. This was corrected and third shift Fuel Pump Modules were inspected and several were found to be defective because of this.
