Saturday April 15th Easter Celebration was a huge
success. There were many activities. Christie Mitchell
brought her miniature horse, and buggy and the kids
stood in line for the opportunity to ride Bracelet.
The Volunteer Fire Department brought over the fire
truck for the kids to tour. The Moon Bounce was set
up for the kids to jump in. Of course, the Easter
Bunny was there for pictures and to play with the
kids. We had five different age groups that did Easter
egg hunts. There were two prize eggs hidden in each
age group and $20 Walmart Gift Cards were given to
the prize egg holders. The Relay for Life Cake Walk
was a huge success and we raised over $250.00 for
the Cancer Society. We are continuing our efforts
to raise funds for the relay for Life Cancer Research
Fund by asking for volunteers to sign up for the walk
on the HR board (Please sign up). We will also be
having various fund raisers prior to the June 16th
Walk at the Franklin Town Square.
