throttle body

A throttle body is a key component of a fuel-injected engine that controls the amount of air entering the engine's intake manifold. It works by opening and closing a butterfly valve in response to the driver's accelerator input, regulating airflow to match engine demand. This air is then mixed with fuel for combustion, making the throttle body essential for proper engine performance, fuel efficiency, and throttle response.

EGR Valve

An EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve reduces harmful NOx emissions by recirculating a portion of exhaust gases back into the intake manifold. This lowers combustion temperatures and helps the engine run more efficiently. Modern EGR valves are electronically controlled for precise operation and are essential for meeting emissions standards while maintaining performance.

FUEL pump module

A fuel pump is a critical component that delivers fuel from the tank to the engine at the correct pressure for efficient combustion. Whether mechanical or electric, it ensures a steady, reliable fuel supply to meet engine demands. Modern electric fuel pumps are often located inside the tank and include integrated pressure regulators and filters to support optimal engine performance and fuel efficiency.

Fuel charcoal canister

A fuel charcoal canister, or EVAP canister, is a key emissions control device that captures fuel vapors from the gas tank using activated charcoal, preventing them from escaping into the atmosphere. By storing and recycling these vapors back into the engine for combustion, it helps reduce pollution and supports a more carbon-neutral operation by minimizing harmful hydrocarbon emissions.
